It was at a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis that I would
come across a man named Luca Cimmarotta who would introduce
me to a white Pinot Noir and this wonderful Cabernet Franc.
Most people don't know about Cabernet Franc, and when
they do, they normally know it to be a main part of Bordeaux
blends. However, there are times when you do see it on it's
own.
In this case, this wine does have 5% Merlot added to it,
which gives it a little bit more spice.
This wine has some wonderful cinnamon and nutmeg
attributes, a juicy flavor of dark plums and cherries, and
tannins which, will showing you dryness, smooth out
immensely after proper airing.
This wine is a phenomenal purchase, as is their rose also
made from Cabernet Franc.
